Miracle Sheets come in seven sizes and twelve colors, and every set holds the same four pieces. The fitted sheet is cut for deep mattresses, up to 17 inches, which covers most pillow-top and memory-foam beds that ordinary sheets pop off during the night. The measurement that decides whether a set fits is depth, not width.
Those are the standard US mattress dimensions rather than measurements taken off the sheets. Use them to identify your bed, then order the matching size.
Measure from the top surface of the mattress down to where it meets the base, and include any topper you sleep on, because the fitted sheet has to go over both.
Under 17 inches and you are fine. At 17 you are at the limit, and a thick topper is what tips a bed over it. If you measure 18 or more, no standard fitted sheet is going to hold the corners. A sheet that is too shallow does not just look untidy, it pulls free in the night, which is the most common reason people send bedding back.
Split King is for adjustable bases that move each side independently. Instead of one wide fitted sheet you get two, one for each half.
If you have a King mattress on a fixed frame, order King. If you have two Twin XL mattresses on an adjustable base, order Split King, because a King fitted sheet on that bed binds the two halves together and stops them articulating.
One fitted sheet, one flat sheet and two pillowcases, all in the same cloth: long-staple cotton at a 300 thread count, finished in a sateen weave, with silver ions woven into the fibers and an OEKO-TEX certification on the fabric. Split King is the exception, with two fitted sheets instead of one.
